ACTIVITIES

Apart from hunting there are various other activities, also for the entire family. You can relax under the lapa whilst reading, etc. The amazing nature also provides ample opportunities for long and lazy walks. We also offer day trips to a nearby game farm (hours drive incl. refreshments). The absolute climax is a flight over Farm Marigold with a microlight.

For the ornithologist there are hundreds of different birds to observe from various bird observation stands. These blind stands are also suitable for general game observation. Any hobby or even professional photographer will find an abundance of picture motives.

We also offer daily sweetwater fishing trips to the Otjivero lake (one hour's drive). Angling gear is included in the offer (see price list). We offer the following fish: Carp, Wels and Briem. Angling only happens from the shore.

For the children we often have attractions like young sheep or calves on the farmstead, which can be fed by hand. Our Dackshund Hexe and German Short Hair dogs Cleopatra and Tinka are also very child loving.

In the evening after a successful day you deserve a sundowner at the camp fire of farm Marigold. We serve ice-cold Namibian beer which is brewed acccording to the German purity requirement. A wide variety of South African quality wines is also available. Nothing compares to spending a beautiful evening under Namibian skies at our beautiful camp fire.

   

We also offer a sightseeing trip to Windhoek, the capital of Namibia. This excursion includes the tour to the native woodcarving markets in Okahandja. A sundowner at the Heinitzburg castle with a view over the capital is also on our itinerary. To round everything off, the guest can spoil his palate with Namibian specialities in the famous Joe's Beerhouse. Its a unique african style Bavarian beer garden in the heart of the city.
